Coating leader’s water and wastewater solutions emphasize sustainability, long-term asset protection and industry collaboration.
Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine, a leader in high-performance coatings for water and wastewater infrastructure, will have a prominent presence at the 2024 WEFTEC Conference, held from Oct. 7 to 9, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Sherwin-Williams subject matter experts will be on hand at Booth 1843 to discuss industry trends and solutions designed to extend the service life of critical assets like manholes, lift stations, pump stations and wastewater treatment plants. The coating specialists will also emphasize the Company’s commitment to sustainability, showcasing 100% solids, low-VOC, low-odor coatings that not only reduce maintenance but also contribute to a 15- to 20-year asset life cycle — a significant improvement over traditional 10-year solutions.
“We understand the complex challenges facing water infrastructure, from aging systems to the need for enhanced sustainability,” says Paul Trautmann, Marketing Director, Infrastructure, Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine. “This year at WEFTEC 2024, we look forward to discussing how our water and wastewater protection resources and advanced coatings can help municipalities and engineers protect critical wastewater infrastructure, improve resilience and meet long-term environmental goals.”
“We’ll be highlighting our high-performance coating and lining solutions that offer lasting durability, as well as showcasing a variety of informative online resources designed to help owners, specifiers and engineers select the right solutions,” says Trautmann. “We’ll also assist applicators in earning Professional Development Hour Credits and applying materials properly and share how everyone can reach our designated water infrastructure coating specialists to secure assistance for their challenges.”
Among its products, Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine will highlight:
The Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine water and wastewater team has also adopted a new coverage model to serve customers. The Company’s water infrastructure coating specialists, many of whom will attend WEFTEC, are positioned around the country to offer a more direct contact to assist with water- and wastewater-based projects.
“We encourage professionals to stop by and explore how our new approach to helping customers – as well as our comprehensive suite of protective coatings and linings – can keep their infrastructure running longer with less downtime,” said Trautmann. “WEFTEC has long been a key event for us, and we look forward to connecting with industry leaders and municipal officials. These collaborations are essential in helping our customers meet their sustainability goals while protecting vital water resources.”
WEFTEC 2024 – the world’s largest annual water quality conference – provides a unique opportunity for professionals to connect, learn and explore cutting-edge technologies aimed at solving pressing water challenges. The presence of Sherwin-Williams at the show underscores the Company’s role as a key player in offering customized, sustainable solutions to protect wastewater infrastructure from corrosion and extend asset life, reducing both environmental impact and operational costs.
