The FHGEL-203B high viscosity low-to-medium-polarity solvent-free organic bentonite, launched by Fenghong New Material, is a new type of composite organic clay characterized by easy dispersion and dust-free feeding. The product is suitable for medium-to-low polarity systems and solvent-free systems, without the need for activators. It disperses simply with high-speed shear. The product exhibits strong pseudoplasticity, with high viscosity at low shear rates, excellent anti-settling properties, and rapid viscosity reduction at high shear rates, providing excellent workability during application.

Usage Instructions:
1) Direct Addition Method
When the mechanical stirring equipment has sufficient shear speed, or when a colloid mill is added, the following material addition sequence is recommended:
I) Resin/solvent;
II) FHGEL-203B;
III) Wetting/dispersing agent;
IV) Pigments;
V) Fillers;Key points to note for this method: It is generally not recommended to add FHGEL-203B after adding pigments, as it can affect the dispersion of FHGEL-203B in the system. FHGEL-203B follows rheological rules and is not affected by increased grinding temperatures.
2) Pre-gel Method
When there is excess solvent in the system, it is recommended to pre-gel FHGEL-203B. It is generally recommended to pre-gel at 10-15% (under conditions of high-speed dispersion). If the pre-gel needs to be pumped, solvents or wetting agents can be used to adjust the viscosity. If FHGEL-203B is pre-gelled in a solvent with a polarity that is not suitable for it, a small amount of polar activator such as water can be added. The amount of activator added should be 5-10% of the amount of FHGEL-203B.

Packaging and Storage:
The product is packaged in an outer kraft paper bag and an inner polyethylene film bag in a double-layer packaging, or valve paper bag packaging. The weight is typically 10±0.25 kg or as per customer requirements. It should be stored under dry conditions at a temperature of 0°C to 30°C. The shelf life is 24 months.
