The Sino US trade talks continued to move in a positive direction. New York Mercantile Exchange West Texas light oil futures settled at $56.20 per barrel in December 2019, up $2.02/barrel, or 3.7%, from the previous trading day, with a trading range of $54.07-56.33; London Intercontinental Exchange Brent crude oil settled at $61.69 per barrel in January 2020, up $2.07/barrel, or 3.5%, from the previous trading day, with a trading range of $59.4-61.82 Buckets.
